This policy describes what personal information The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem collects and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to all information received by The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem, both online and offline, including any electronic, written, or verbal communications.

The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem does not collect personally identifiable information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. By purchasing a ticket, registering for a class, making a donation, or signing up for our mailing list, you are choosing to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that we use in the course of our business with you. We do not purchase or obtain your information in any other way.

Your personally identifiable information will only be stored in our secure customer databases which are accessible solely by authorized people including specific Little Theatre employees and volunteers that work in our box office. Each of these individuals is authorized to access this information only as it is needed for Little Theatre business. At the effective date of this document, these databases include Salesforce, Mailchimp, and Square.

The Little Theatre believes that theatre should be accessible by all people. Therefore, we attempt to track our progress in this area by gathering the following demographic data. We keep demographic information regarding your race/ethnicity, age group, and disability status in our database only if you have volunteered to share that information with us. We do not share individuals' demographic information with any other entity. We supply general demographic information to The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County as a part of our grant reporting processes. We may supply this information to other granting organizations as well. To be clear, this is not personally identifiable information, but is a generalization that describes how many people in various demographic categories have attended our performances or educational programs.

When you supply a credit card number for a purchase or donation, we use a secure, encrypted process that communicates with our merchant services processor. If you choose to supply your credit card number for us to “keep on file”, we do not keep the complete number in our database. Rather, it is saved securely by our merchant services processor and is accessed only when you purchase tickets or make a donation. We do not have the ability to see your credit card number except for the last four digits.

Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage our patrons to be aware when they leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

You can contact us by phone at 336-725-4001 or email info@ltofws.org to request that we remove your name from our email or postal mailing lists. If you opt to be taken off our mailing list, you will no longer receive mail from us, including publications or special notices.
